Who We Are

Kingsland Meats – We are a family run business that has been in operation for over 35 years. Our website address is: https://kingslandmeats.com.

Policies

This is our online ordering website. We do not provide delivery or shipping at this time. Online ordering is for curbside pickup only. Orders can be placed any time of day or day of week, but we will only process orders during our open business hours, typically every day except Wednesday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you submit an order outside of our open business hours, we will begin processing on the next business day. You will receive notification when your order is ready for pickup. Please do not proceed to the store to pick up your order until you have been notified that it is ready for pickup.

This is an online ordering system. Your order total displayed on this website is only an estimate of your actual total. We sell many catch-weight items so just as if you were shopping in-person in our store, if you order 1 lb. of ground beef, you may get 1.05 or .98 of a lb. but be assured you will be charged for what you receive, just as if you were shopping in-person. If we are out of any items in your order or if there is a large difference in price, we will contact you about substitutions or deletions. We will NOT update your order as displayed under your order history. You will be provided with your actual total prior to pick up and a paper receipt upon pickup. You will need that paper receipt for any returns. Your order history is NOT a receipt of your order.

This is an online ordering system. We do not process payments through this website. Payment will be processed in-person and car side upon pickup. You may pay with cash, credit, debit or EBT. Taxes on EBT eligible items will be excluded when paying with EBT.

We are a small family business. We will do our best to keep the online prices up-to-date, however if there are any discrepancies, you will be charged the same prices as walk-in customers. That means, if we have a sale going on that is not reflected on this website, you will still receive the sale price. By the same token, should there have been a price increase on an item and we have neglected to update the online price, you will pay the in-store price. Prices, weights and availability are always subject to change.

Comments

We do not currently collect comments on our website, but should we decide to turn this feature on, when visitors leave comments on the site, we would collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. When we process your payment, relevant information is transmitted to our payment processor. We do not currently accept payments through online ordering.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. When we process your payment, relevant information is transmitted to our payment processor. We do not currently accept payments through online ordering.
